An Avebury Story is an immersive, choose-your-own-adventure VR experience I created for my Master’s dissertation in Digital Archaeology. Transport yourself to the Neolithic stone circles at Avebury, Wiltshire, where you get to choose which path to traverse and what stories to experience. Filmed on consumer-grade 360° cameras and built in Unity, An Avebury Story is optimised for Meta Quest headsets and is also playable in YouTube’s 360° mode.
