My Projects

This is a showcase of some projects I’ve worked on, ranging from documentary production to immersive storytelling to heritage filmmaking.

An Avebury Story - a VR/360

An Avebury Story is an immersive, choose-your-own-adventure VR experience I created for my Master’s dissertation in Digital Archaeology.

The Huntingdon Exhibit - A VR Museum

The Huntingdon Exhibit is a virtual reality museum dedicated to the excavations undertaken at the mesolithic site of Star Carr, Yorkshire.

Yellow cab drivers in New York struggle to stay alive as the pandemic rages on

This was the first piece I worked on in the field after the Covid-19 pandemic had taken over. I produced and filmed (B-cam) the story in NYC, following a yellow cab driver reeling from the effects of the pandemic.

A 3D history of the Southern Gateway

Projection augmented animations bringing Bradford’s history to life on a 3D printed city model.

How to find buried treasure in York

This is a short film I made during my Master’s program in Digital Archaeology at the University of York. It’s a lighthearted investigation into what defines “treasure” archaeologically and ties into the history and culture of York. I filmed everything on a Sony a7iii and edited the final piece in DaVinci Resolve.

The struggle for Native Americans to get water in South Dakota

This is one of my favorite stories I worked on at CNN. I produced and filmed (B-cam) this piece.
For the Oglala Lakota people on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, many don’t have access to running water.
