The Huntingdon Exhibit - A VR Museum

The Huntingdon Exhibit is a virtual reality museum dedicated to the excavations undertaken at the mesolithic site of Star Carr, Yorkshire. The main room was modelled after the Huntingdon Room at King’s Manor in York, and the displays incorporate photos, video, text, audio, 3D objects, and interactive elements. The exhibit was mostly built in the now-defunct Mozilla Spoke, with some 3D modelling done in Blender. The final project was an interactive, multiplayer, multimedia digital museum that allowed users to pick up, throw, wear, and interact with the virtual artifacts.
